Recommendation for position of Prefect

To: Prefect Selection Committee, May 2015

I’ve known Tyrese since he started at the London Nautical School in Year 7. I have been his English teacher for all of the three years since then and I cannot state strongly enough how well suited Tyrese is to the role of prefect.

Over the years, Tyrese has demonstrated the qualities of strong, principled leadership on many occasions. My implicit trust for Tyrese can be seen in the fact that he holds the keys to my classroom and supervises its use at lunchtimes. He is a young man of extraordinary integrity who is an outstanding role-model to his peers.

Tyrese has a determined set of moral values which is maintains in all circumstances, and as a consequence is the kind of young man who we can count on to be an outstanding representative of our school.

I extend my unreserved recommendation for Tyrese to the position of Prefect of the London Nautical School.
